Ipoh, Perak.

My first entry isn't anywhere abroad but a small town famous with delicious food called Ipoh, Perak. Situated here is a short getaway from the real hustle bustle of the city especially when you head on to slightly outskirt of Ipoh and to Tambun for it's night spa.

Lost World of Tambun is a theme park by day and spa by night. Personally, I find the theme park is just ordinary. Very little rides with nothing amusing but a great place for family especially the ones with little kids. I do love the concept of night spa though especially their top-of-the-world-jacuzzi. It's definitely pleasing :)

Like I said, Ipoh is famous for their local food. Basically, if you enjoy a good chinese cuisine, this is a place to go! I'd recommend their Foh San Dim Sum as breakfast, the original Old Town Coffee (Nam Heong Coffee Shop) for lunch/brunch (if you're an early person), Tuck Kee for a savoury noodles dinner and Restaurant Sam Pou for a fulfilling supper (or vice-versa). As for FOOD souvenirs (especially for Malaysians or if your flight hours are not that long), you'd love to try their Sin Eng Heong kaya puffs and sek kek ma which my family finished over a day and Aun Kheng Lim salted chicken.

If you enjoy a trip of culture, you may want to visit Kellie's Castle or check out the Perak Historian Map. I've been to Kellie's Castle, a place which is famous for wedding photos due to it's view on the rooftop but be warn that at night, it's quite paranormal. If you are that kind of person, you may want to sign up their night package. Spooky!

P/S: Cheers to first entry and counting. ♪☻

Remember, you live to experience.
